Your BEST Drugstore Lip!


Do you walk into a drugstore and not even know where to begin when it comes to makeup?

Maybe you don’t see the point in spending a lot of money on makeup so this is where you wound up. There are actually some products that you can get at the drugstore that are still good quality. And the cheaper brands can have some amazing colours.

That’s what I found when it comes to lips. NYX (pronounced nix) cosmetics is a professional makeup line that offers amazing quality at cheap prices. NYX was named after the Greek goddess of the night and was founded by Toni Ko in 1989 in Los Angeles. It is now a subsidiary of L’oreal and is cruelty free brand and offers a wide range of Vegan products. It has some of the best lip colours out there. I came across them watching a youtube channel a few years back. And since then, many beauty bloggers have talked about their lipsticks. The colours and formulas are just so great!



A good nude looks good on most. NYX retractable crème lipliner in the colour nude is the perfect shade and creamy formula. Top it off with the NYX butter gloss in crème brulee and you have that perfect nude pink pout. The lip liner helps to give your lips a nice shape, while also helping the gloss to stay on longer. You can get away with putting the lipliner on once, and then just re-apply the gloss throughout the day when needed. This has been my go-to for many years. It provides a little bit of colour for a more natural lip, but it doesn’t feel sticky on your lips. It feels nice and moisturizing. You can check them out here:
