OLAPLEX No. 3 REVIEW

What is all the hype about Olaplex? I was wondering myself until I went for my post-isolation hair appointment. My hair was in shambles…grey coming through like no other, and split ends that were continually getting worse. I literally left my wonderful hairdressers (Grace) in awe. How did she get my hair to look like that? Well, let me tell you:

#2 She gave my hair a deep treatment with the Olaplex No. 3!

I had tried the shampoo in the past and really liked it, but it had done nothing like this. How had I not tried this before???

My hair went from being gritty and broken to looking healthy and shiny in a matter of hours. Granted, I did get a haircut and colour which helped a lot. But I have not seen my hair look this healthy in a very long time. I tend to lose sight of the importance of a treatment like this. If you don’t take care of your hair, it can break and look unhealthy. This is an easy solution to keep your hair looking like you just left the salon. The best part is that you can do it at home and its smells great and is not overpowering. It is vegan, cruelty free and colour-safe.

One thing to note, is that Olaplex No 3 is NOT a conditioner. It should actually be used BEFORE you shampoo your hair. Apply it to damp hair and leave it on for a minimum of 10 mins and no longer then 30-45 minutes. You can apply a generous amount from roots to ends. Once you rinse it out, then follow with shampoo and conditioner. It is to be used once per week, however if you have damaged hair, it can be used 2-3 times per week. If you are like me and have very fragile hair, then using it more often is recommended.

The structural integrity of our hair is also known as bonds. Olaplex works to repair, protect and strengthen our hair and rebuild the broken bonds. It works for ALL hair types. Our hair is something that can help us feel good when it looks healthy. No matter whether it is fine, thick, short or long. If it’s healthy, it looks good and you feel great!
