Keeping up with the trends: How to add Makeup with a Pop of Colour!

Do you walk by the current eyeshadow palettes and think "I would never wear colours like that"? Do you feel like they are WAY out of your comfort zone? If so, I can guarantee that you are not alone. However, the good news is I am here to tell you there is a way to apply a pop of colour while still feeling comfortable in your makeup! You CAN play with colour in a safe and comfortable way.

For example, in the video below, this is a very neutral look overall, and then a pop of colour is added in for fun! Some great quality and affordable palettes are the Norvina minis by Anastasia. They have the BEST pigment and are a great size especially if you are just wanting to try it out and dabble with a little colour. If I was just walking by the eyeshadow palette, it would intimidate me a little at first. However, once you try some of these colours you will be surprised at how pretty they are. This look is something that can be worn to work, or going out for a few drinks with friends or even on a date. It is a very subtle pop of colour but also adds a little fun to the look! This is definitely something you can get away with this season.

Another way to add a subtle pop of colour is to add it to your inner eyes. A bright neon pink for example. The trick is to keep everything else neutral on your face and that way it's not quite so over powering. Another method is to use an eyeliner. There are also so many fun eyeliner colours by great brands like Fenty and Urban decay. If you want to add a pop of colour you can just line your upper lash line OR choose to do your lower lash line. This will create that subtle pop of colour and add some fun to that regular neutral look.
